In today’s world people are busy in their own world and so they are not able to examine their sins they have committed. Most of them do not confess their some sins for rest of their life because they have not examined it.
Most of our sins we will not be found by us because devil will come and distract us into things that are not so important. Without receiving forgiveness for the sin we have committed we will not be able to give up that particular sin.
Sin is strong in many people’s life because they are living carelessly. Even among the people who pray daily are also very careless about their sins. This is the main reason Saint Bernard said Lord please do not reveal Yourself to me until I know myself.
Most of us do not know ourselves because we have not studied ourselves and our behaviours completely. Unless we examine our thoughts, words and actions daily it is next to impossible to know ourselves.
Every wrong thought leads to speak wrong words and every wrong words we speak will lead us to wrong action that is sin.
Sin can be uprooted from our life only when we seek help of Jesus who carried our sins on the cross to Calvary and died for our sins. Jesus is the only one who can set us free from our sins but for Jesus to set us free from our sins we should treat our sins as our enemy but the truth is most of treat sin as friend that is why Jesus will not deliver us from our sin. We have struggle everyday and suffer all the consequences will come in our life as the result of our sin.

"ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ (ಪಾಪಗಳ) ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಹಾಕುವ ದೆವ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರದಿಂದಿರಿ." - ಸಂತ ಜೋಸೆಮರಿಯಾ ಎಸ್ಕ್ರಿವಾ. ಇಂದಿನ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲವು ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ಸಿಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೆವ್ವವು ಬಂದು ಅಷ್ಟು ಮುಖ್ಯವಲ್ಲದ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬೇರೆಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾವು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಪಡೆಯದೆ ನಾವು ಆ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅನೇಕ ಜನರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಪವು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗಿದೆ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಅಜಾಗರೂಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಬದುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ಇದೆ. ಸೇಂಟ್ ಬರ್ನಾರ್ಡ್ ಲಾರ್ಡ್ ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೆಗೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸಬೇಡಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಇದು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡದ ಕಾರಣ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವರಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು, ಪದಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸದ ಹೊರತು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯದ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ತಪ್ಪು ಆಲೋಚನೆಯು ತಪ್ಪು ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ತಪ್ಪು ಪದಗಳು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪಾಪ ಎಂದು ತಪ್ಪು ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಲ್ವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಮರಣಿಸಿದ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಬಹುದು. ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಬಲ್ಲವನು ಯೇಸು ಮಾತ್ರ ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಯೇಸು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕಾದರೆ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಂತೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಬೇಕು ಆದರೆ ಸತ್ಯವು ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಂತೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಯೇಸು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪ. ನಾವು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪದ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ.
