I would like to know the defects of the saints and what they did to correct these defects. That would help me much more than hearing about their miracles and ecstasies.— Saint Bernadette of Lourdes.

 

We all when we read the life story of saints and the miracles they assisted we get very excited but we fail to know the truth that is when they were struggling with sin and because of that how their life was affected and through power of God how they overcame and became great saints when they were living in this world and after they have gone also they are remembered by millions every single day.

 

When we check their lives deeply and see their struggles then we will realize that it is easy to say we can become saints but truth is it is very difficult.

 

These saints whom we know and pray to them have struggled badly to get rid of all bad things in their life and they never gave up but they prayed and asked God His Mercy and Grace daily and then received timely help to become great saints.

 

We all should read and understand the mistakes they have committed and the devotions they have turned to overcome will give us great confidence to do the same when we are in same situation.

 

We should know that we also have the same opportunity they had to change our life from sin to Grace and when we do this we will also be able to do good things to others around us without expecting anything back from them.

 

All saints of the past will teach us one or the other lesson and if we take all lessons seriously then surely no one can stop us from becoming saint.

ನಾವು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವ ಈ ಸಂತರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಡೆದುಹಾಕಲು ತುಂಬಾ ಹೆಣಗಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಕರುಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಂತರ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಂತರಾಗಲು ಸಮಯೋಚಿತ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.

ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಪಾಪದಿಂದ ಕೃಪೆಗೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದ ಅದೇ ಅವಕಾಶ ನಮಗೂ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ತಿಳಿದಿರಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಇತರರಿಗೆ ಅವರಿಂದ ಏನನ್ನೂ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸದೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಸಹ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

हम सभी जब संतों की जीवन कहानी और उनके द्वारा किए गए चमत्कारों को पढ़ते हैं तो हम बहुत उत्साहित हो जाते हैं लेकिन हम सच्चाई को जानने में विफल हो जाते हैं कि जब वे पाप से जूझ रहे थे और उसके कारण उनका जीवन कैसे प्रभावित हुआ और भगवान की शक्ति के माध्यम से उन्होंने कैसे जीत हासिल की और इस दुनिया में रहते हुए महान संत बन गए और उनके जाने के बाद भी उन्हें हर दिन लाखों लोग याद करते हैं।

जब हम उनके जीवन की गहराई से जाँच करेंगे और उनके संघर्षों को देखेंगे तो हमें एहसास होगा कि यह कहना आसान है कि हम संत बन सकते हैं लेकिन सच्चाई यह है कि यह बहुत मुश्किल है।

ये संत जिन्हें हम जानते हैं और उनसे प्रार्थना करते हैं, उन्होंने अपने जीवन में सभी बुरी चीजों से छुटकारा पाने के लिए बहुत संघर्ष किया है और उन्होंने कभी हार नहीं मानी बल्कि उन्होंने प्रार्थना की और भगवान से उनकी दया और कृपा मांगी और फिर महान संत बनने के लिए समय पर मदद प्राप्त की।

हम सभी को पढ़ना चाहिए और समझना चाहिए कि उन्होंने क्या गलतियाँ की हैं और उन्होंने किस भक्ति का सहारा लिया है, इससे हमें भी वैसा ही करने का बहुत आत्मविश्वास मिलेगा, जब हम उसी स्थिति में होंगे।

हमें पता होना चाहिए कि हमारे पास भी वही अवसर है जो उनके पास था कि हम अपने जीवन को पाप से अनुग्रह में बदल सकें और जब हम ऐसा करेंगे तो हम भी अपने आस-पास के लोगों के लिए अच्छे काम कर पाएँगे, बिना उनसे कुछ भी बदले की उम्मीद किए।

अतीत के सभी संत हमें कोई न कोई सबक सिखाएँगे और अगर हम सभी सबक को गंभीरता से लेंगे तो निश्चित रूप से हमें संत बनने से कोई नहीं रोक सकता।
