we are all fallen into different kinds of pits,some of us because of our wrong decision we have fallen into it. Some of us because of wrong friendship we have been thrown into it, Some of us because of not accepting life as it comes we have slipped and fallen into it, some of us because of not able to handle the pressure of situation we have jumped into it.
Pits are of different kinds, some are in the pit of pride,some are in the pit of anger, some are in the pit of fornication and adultery, some are in the pit of alcohol, some are in the pit of drugs, some are in the pit of gossip, some are in the pit of hatred and many more endless list, because of falling into one or more pits mentioned above we are in serious danger of falling into bigger pit like sickness, calamities and accidents.
No matter what type of pits we have fallen into we need God's help to get out of it. If we love the pit we are in then that pit becomes our friend, if we hate our pit like our enemy then surely God will set us free from our pit.
Jesus has clearly said in His Word that He will set us free from our enemies and not friends.
