CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION DAILY – BY ROVAN PINTO.

"PENANCE REQUIRES . . . THE SINNER TO ENDURE ALL THINGS WILLINGLY, BE CONTRITE OF HEART, CONFESS WITH THE LIPS, AND PRACTICE COMPLETE HUMILITY AND FRUITFUL SATISFACTION."CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH 1450

We all are living in this corrupt world and we are surrounded by people who know God and also people who do not know GOD. We have to be very careful not to follow anyone blindly without verifying everything they say and do.  If we blindly follow them and if they are living in errors then surely we will live a life filled with errors.

We have to repent for all the errors we have committed in the past and if we still persist in errors there is no possibility for our repentance to be complete.

We instead of blindly following others and falling trap to errors, let us make effort to read Bible and start doing everything according to the truth written in it. We have to be a living example to others around us so that they may imitate us as we imitate Jesus when He was on earth.

Today most of us who are regular in prayer also do not know the truth and because of this we are not growing spiritually after being in prayers for long time. Today we have all the time to sit and watch TV or spend time on face book or chat on whatsapp but we do not have time to examine our life which is most important of all and find out the mistakes we are doing so that we may stop committing mistakes and start doing right.

We all because of neglecting self examination most us have moved from committing venial sins towards mortal sin and got ourselves disconnected from God. Repentance means turning our face to GOD and our back to sin but in reality most of us will be doing exactly opposite turning our back to God and our face to sin.

More we delay repenting for our sins more we are in danger of perishing. Let us not wait for long to repent from our sins and change our life because death can strike us suddenly by surprise and we may lose our soul to eternal condemnation. God is the GOD of mercy and Grace when we are living and after our death GOD will become God of justice and because of this we should not expect mercy from God after our death.

CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION DAILY – BY ROVAN PINTO.

WORD OF GOD CLEARLY SAYS IN ROMANS 8:28 - WE KNOW THAT ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD FOR THOSE WHO LOVE GOD, WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.

We are all maybe living in the same building or same compound or same city or same country but we all are going through different types of situations in our life.

Some are going through good phase of their life, some are going through bad phase of their life and some are going through worst phase of their life. We have to understand if we are going through good phase of our life we have to be more careful not to laugh and make fun of those in bad and worst phase because when good will turn into bad and bad into worst we will never know.

Nobody can dream of having all good days in their life but have to be ready to face everything. God knows everything and He works everything for our good. Maybe today people are in bad and worst situation but if they are obedient to the Word of GOD then surely God will work everything for their good and bring them into favour and change their situation from mourning to dancing and from sorrow to joy.

Bad and worst phase of life is very hard to overcome. If we are not having habit of prayer then we will get fed up very soon and because of that we will either quit prayers or rebel against God. Without having fellowship with the Word of God daily it is next of impossible to get out of bad and worst situations.

If we are without prayers then we will be feeling every now and then that our life is finished and there is no way out. We have to remember that in this situation JESUS is the only way out for us. Once we are able to overcome bad and worst situation with help of JESUS, HE will use us to help others overcome the same.

God doesn’t allow any situation in our life without uniting it to His great plan and purpose and without prayers we cannot understand all that is going on in our life.

FAITH MEANS BATTLES; IF THERE ARE NO CONTESTS, IT IS BECAUSE THERE ARE NONE WHO DESIRE TO CONTEND. –SAINT AMBROSE.

We all claim that we pray in our homes, church, prayer groups, retreats and many other places but only prayer will not help us if we are not ready to face any situation coming against us in our life.

We have to understand that whenever we are in prayer and walking closer to God there will be strong opposition from the devil and his companion to stop us, to break us, to divert our attention.

Most of us because of not understanding this most of the time we fall prey to the schemes of the devil and his companions and live a defeated life.

God has promised great things in our life, if we are determined to see it in our life then we have to be tough like a warrior and keep on defeat the defeated enemy and move forward.

Most of the people want to pray but they do not want face any battle. Most of us give up before the battle begins. When we do this the happiest person will be devil. We have to learn through the Word of God the ways that we can defeat the enemy.

Initially we may lose many battles to the devil, but it really doesn’t matter because we are in the middle of training, once we learn to defeat the devil then our training is finished and then real battle begins all this time we were behind, now we will be in front facing the devil and his companions with the help of Word of GOD. More we speak the Word of God more we grow in confidence, more we grow i n confidence then devil and his companions has no chance to stand against us but to run away before getting hit.

REMEMBER, MAN, THAT THOU ART DUST, AND INTO DUST THOU SHALT RETURN. -- THE WAY OF SALVATION AND OF PERFECTION – SAINT ALPHONSUS LIGOURI.

We are living a temporary life on earth and there is no fixed time for us to live here on earth, whenever our time comes we have to leave this earth.

In today’s world we see most of us live as we have come here to live permanently that is why most of us give more importance to money and possession. More we have money more we become greedy and because of this most of us live an unsatisfied life on this earth.
We have to understand that we are dust and whenever our times comes we have to go back to the dust and also we have come to this world naked and we will go to our grave without taking anything.

We may think because of our wealth people will recognize us after our death but the truth is people will recognize us for a while and after that they forget, but if we do good then surely for long time they will remember us like we remember saints.

We have to analyze our life and try our level best to minimize the errors we are doing, so that we may not have any fear on the day of judgement. God knows us inside out and He will help us to grow in every possible way but we most of the time miss the help GOD sends us either because of our ignorance or because of our arrogance.

We have to prepare ourselves today for the day of our death because no one knows when the death will strike us. If we do not prepare ourselves now then it will be too late for us either to repent or to change.

CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION DAILY – BY ROVAN PINTO.

WORD OF GOD CLEARLY SAYS IN MARK 16:15 HE (JESUS) SAID TO THEM, “GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS TO THE WHOLE CREATION.

Jesus has told us to go into the World and proclaim the good news to everyone. In today’s world people are so busy in their work and other things of the World and because of this they do not have time to pray, when they do not have time to pray, we cannot expect them to go and preach Good news to others.

Today people are interested to do everything of the world but when it comes to God and His service no one is interested. They do not practice reciting prayers in their house. In most of the houses we can see adults watching TV programmes and children on the laptop or with games.

When we grow this culture at home it is next to impossible for us to grow in faith and also we cannot teach others to grow in faith.

Today even in the midst of global crisis people instead of praying they are spending most of their time chatting with others or sharing unwanted things to others and also playing games.

If we do not pray then surely our future generations will become unbelievers and do worst things than us. Parents are responsible if their children have become unbelievers. They have taught them everything except prayer.

Today biggest work we can ever think of doing is to bring lost souls to the kingdom of God.

CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION DAILY – BY ROVAN PINTO.

WORD OF GOD CLEARLY SAYS IN 2 CORINTHIANS 1:5 - FOR JUST AS THE SUFFERINGS OF CHRIST ARE ABUNDANT FOR US, SO ALSO OUR CONSOLATION IS ABUNDANT THROUGH CHRIST.

God has created every human being in His likeness and image. Every human being has greater capacity to bear pain than pleasure.

Sufferings are the only way we can experience pain in our life. Most of us because of fear try to avoid suffering but the truth is either we can joyfully accept it and reap the great reward out of it or else whatever is destined for us will come automatically upon us and because of this most of us will complain and grumble.

God has a great purpose behind every suffering coming in our life only when we go through it joyfully surely purpose behind it will unfolded by GOD at the right time.

Till that time we have be calm in our suffering and surrender all our pain to Jesus and unite our suffering to His Cross so that we are going to experience something great which we could not even think.

Jesus took the difficult road of suffering to redeem all souls from the hands of the devil instead of easy way which was available to Him when He was tempted by the devil after His baptism in the desert.

We also try to choose the easy way and because of that many of us instead of partnering with Jesus we have partnered with the devil. When we choose the easy way surely devil is deceiving us to walk towards hell instead of heaven.

When we are going through sufferings prayer is the only help we have to get connected to GOD who will surely deliver us according to His plan and purpose, till then He will comfort us and console us through His Word. If we do not read the Word of God when we are going through suffering instead of being in peace we will be all the time oppressed, depressed and suicidal.

God knows exactly the day and the time of our deliverance and freedom. We will not be knowing the day and time that’s why we have to keep ourselves encouraged with the Word of God and move forward thinking today is our day and if it doesn’t happen by evening then we have to believe something will happen tonight or tomorrow and we have encourage ourselves then only we will be able to see the Glory of God.

“YOU MUST ASK GOD TO GIVE YOU POWER TO FIGHT AGAINST THE SIN OF PRIDE WHICH IS YOUR GREATEST ENEMY – THE ROOT OF ALL THAT IS EVIL, AND THE FAILURE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD. FOR GOD RESISTS THE PROUD.”-ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

PRIDE is the one of the biggest enemy of faith. Most of us believe we are humble but the truth is all of us have pride some mild and some great.

People with great pride can be recognised by others but the people with mild pride escape notice of others and because of this many who were having mild pride very soon fall trap to great pride.

Those who have pride have to know that they will be opposed by God. We have to understand because of pride devil became fallen angel, Saul lost his kingship and so on.

We can easily find out people with pride and Humility when they speak. People with great pride give themselves glory for all their achievements in life but in the contrary the humble people give glory to God for everything. But we have to be careful about those people who act like they humble but in reality they are proud (wolves in disguise of lamb)

We have to pray every day so that God will reveal to us every word we have spoken or every deeds we have done in pride so that we may rectify and also we have to ask GOD power to fight pride in us or else instead of partnering with GOD we will be partnering with devil who is king of pride.

We because of pride mess up our life and after messing our life we instead blaming ourselves for it most of us blame GOD for it. When we are living with pride for long then surely every good God has blessed us will fade away from our life and everything from devil and his associates will flourish in our life. If we are alert then we surely ask God help and change our life from pride to humility.

We have to understand we can walk with pride not for long because we are opposed by God and we will be walking by our strength and will have great fall soon. We have to take the warning of the Word of God seriously so that we will safeguard ourselves from falling trap to Pride.

DELAY NOT TO BE CONVERTED TO THE LORD, AND PUT IT NOT OFF FROM DAY TO DAY: FOR HIS WRATH SHALL COME ON A SUDDEN, AND IN THE TIME OF VENGEANCE WILL HE DESTROY THEE.-- THE WAY OF SALVATION AND OF PERFECTION – SAINT ALPHONSUS LIGOURI.

We because of being busy in the world put off needlessly our spiritual growth and because of this we instead growing closer to GOD we walk away from Him and because of walking away from Him we will be caught up suddenly with Wrath of God.

Today what we are facing in the world is Wrath of GOD, after the wrath of God started all over the world from past few months, we instead of repenting and growing spiritually we are still thinking when this will finish so that we may again live a life of sin.

We have to understand that nobody can face God’s wrath because it is destruction and death. We have seen in the past in the Bible the wrath of GOD through great flood which wiped out whole earth except Noah and family, Sodom and Gomorrah both completely destroyed except lot and family, destruction of all Israelites above 21 years in the desert except Caleb and Joshua, serpents killing many because of complaining, and earth swallowing many for challenging Moses and so on.

We in this situation have to ask GOD’S MERCY so that we may be alive in midst of destruction and death. God has clearly said in His word that HE WILL SHOW MERCY TO WHOM HE WANTS TO SHOW MERCY. We have to plead with Him by praying Divine mercy chaplet daily so that according to the promise He has given He will keep us alive.

God is kind, merciful, compassionate and loving at the same time God is God of justice and righteousness. We all require God’s Mercy in midst of destruction on all sides or else we may also perish with them. In today’s situation God will work something big so that people will understand that Money, power, fame cannot save them but only GOD.

At least from now onwards many will come to believe in GOD ALMIGHTY so that all honour, all Glory and All praise belongs to Him.

CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION DAILY – BY ROVAN PINTO.

ANYONE WHO DESIRES TO RECEIVE CHRIST IN EUCHARISTIC COMMUNION MUST BE IN THE STATE OF GRACE. ANYONE AWARE OF HAVING SINNED MORTALLY MUST NOT RECEIVE COMMUNION WITHOUT HAVING RECEIVED ABSOLUTION IN THE SACRAMENT OF PENANCE.CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH 1415.

Most of the people who come to church regularly but most of them do not know that they have to receive Eucharist in the state of Grace.

Many of us come to church regularly but we forget to go for confession regularly and because of not going for confession regularly with or without our knowledge we will be having one or more mortal sins in our life and we without examining ourselves receive Eucharist like we receive sweets.

We have to be very careful when we receive Holy Communion because we are not receiving Holy Communion but JESUS HIMSELF. God has clearly given us warning through His word if we do not receive Eucharist worthily, then we will not be receiving Eucharist but receiving Judgement.

Today’s generation has forgotten the commandments of GOD and also precepts of the Catholic Church. We have to understand that if we even miss the obligated mass on Sunday it is mortal sin, but for many of our brothers and sisters it’s just an excuse and most of after having missed obligated mass and we attend Holy Mass the following week and receive Eucharist in the state of mortal sin instead of Grace.

It is better for us to attend mass and not receive Eucharist in state of Mortal sin and commit sin of sacrilege so that if we die in the state of sacrilege there is no judgement for us but dreadful sentence to eternal fire of hell.

Whenever we know that we are not in the state of Grace Let us not rush to receive Eucharist but first let us go for confession and then receive Eucharist.

Let us from today make a strong commitment to receive Eucharist in state of Grace and also when we have Committed Mortal sin let us stop receiving Holy Communion before we receive absolution for our mortal sins in the confession.

CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION DAILY – BY ROVAN PINTO.

WORD OF GOD CLEARLY SAYS IN GALATIANS 3:13-14 - CHRIST REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW BY BECOMING A CURSE FOR US—FOR IT IS WRITTEN, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”—  IN ORDER THAT IN CHRIST JESUS THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM MIGHT COME TO THE GENTILES, SO THAT WE MIGHT RECEIVE THE PROMISE OF THE SPIRIT THROUGH FAITH.

JESUS redeemed us from the curse of the law by dying on the cross but we are all in the midst of wrong understanding that we are cursed, we are lost, we are useless and we are failure.

This wrong understanding has put many of us into depression and also when depression increases most of us get trapped in suicidal thoughts. We have to understand that Jesus went through all the sufferings to bring all of us freedom from slavery of the devil.

Devil wanted to kill Jesus from the day of HIS birth till HIS death on the Cross so that devil can defeat JESUS but devil was thinking only outer side but he did not even have a clue about God’s master plan of sacrificing His only Son to redeem all the souls from the hands of the devil so that HE could again reconcile them to God the Father. Devil did not even think that he will be defeated and bound with chains for 1000 years.

We have to understand that God gave Law to Moses and through the law He has given blessing for obeying and also curse for disobeying. From the beginning people had to obey the Law to get blessed or else they would get curse automatically for disobeying.

Today’s we all are blessed after committing great sins secretly or openly only because of Jesus great sacrifice on the cross. We are all redeemed from the curse of the law but the real question is how many of believe and live a life pleasing to Jesus and also thank Him every day.

Jesus got for us Abraham's blessing (read Genesis 12: 1-3) for us. When we believe that we are blessed with Abraham’s blessing surely nothing can make us sad or no situation can make us move away from GOD.

“WHEN YOU APPROACH THE TABERNACLE REMEMBER THAT HE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR YOU FOR TWENTY CENTURIES.”– ST. JOSEMARIA ESCRIVA.

We all have gone to church one or the other point of our life and we have seen tabernacle which is in the centre of the alter.

Today’s generation have lost the essence of GOD and that is we see many adults as well as children do not bow down to the tabernacle when they enter the church or bow down when they cross from this side to the other.

Parents are teaching their children everything except prayer and that’s the main reason for increasing sin in this world. Most of the parents are solely responsible for their children’s unbelief. It is every parent’s responsibility to bring up children in prayer.

We should have reverence towards God and bow whenever we approach the tabernacle. Let us not walk inside the church as we walk in the mall but let us understand that it is HOUSE OF GOD.

Today’s generation when they approach the tabernacle they do not understand they are not approaching the tabernacle but they are approaching JESUS. People come to church not because they love GOD But most of them to fulfil their obligated duty.

We have to understand when we enter the house of GOD we should have respect for GOD. If we do not respect GOD then what is our purpose of coming to church. Everything may look very small when we are alive but the same will become very big on the judgement day.

SAINT PADRE PIO REPORTED TO PADRE ANASTASIO DI ROIO:  "ONE NIGHT I WAS ALONE IN THE CHOIR AND SAW A FRIAR CLEANING THE ALTAR LATE AT NIGHT.
I ASKED HIM TO GO TO BED SINCE IT WAS SO LATE. HE SAID: "I'M A FRIAR LIKE YOU. I DID HERE MY NOVITIATE AND WHEN ASSIGNED TO TAKE CARE OF THE ALTAR,
AND I PASSED MANY TIMES IN FRONT OF THE TABERNACLE WITHOUT MAKING THE PROPER REVERENCE. FOR THIS SIN I AM IN PURGATORY, AND THE LORD SENT ME TO YOU.
YOU DECIDE HOW MUCH LONGER I HAVE TO SUFFER IN THOSE FLAMES." PADRE PIO: " I TOLD HIM: UNTIL THE MASS IN THE MORNING. HE SAID "CRUEL" AND DISAPPEARED.
I STILL HAVE A WOUND IN MY HEART.
I COULD HAVE SENT HIM IMMEDIATELY TO PARADISE, INSTEAD HE HAD TO STAY ONE MORE NIGHT IN THE FLAMES OF PURGATORY."

WE CARRY THE TREASURE OF GRACE IN A VERY FRAIL VESSEL, WHICH MAY BE BROKEN TO PIECES AT THE MOMENT               -- IMITATION OF BLESSED VIRGIN MARY, BYSAINT AMBROSE.

God is supplier of Grace to everyone in different measures. We all have received Grace upon Grace because of Jesus but we need to examine our self and see whether we have benefited out of it and grown in our spiritual life.

If we are on and off in our spiritual life then we have to understand that we are spilling the Grace after we receive. If our life is not changed after receiving Grace for a long period of time then we should know that we are doing something which is contrary to the word of GOD.

We all receive Grace from GOD in a very delicate vessel which can be compared to clay pot which will break if we drop down and once that vessel is broken by no means we can join it or collect grace which was inside it. When the vessel is broken automatically the Grace is spilled out and this happens every time we commit sin.

We all will be in the period of Grace after we have gone for confession of our sins to the priest and receive absolution but real challenge starts after we have come out devil and his companions will come again and again and fill us with thoughts to commit sin and most of the time we listen and fall trap to it and very few times we reject the suggestion given by the devil by doing this we protect our vessel of Grace.

More days we protect the vessel of Grace it will be topping up and the moment we commit sin it will become empty little by little and when we commit mortal sin deliberately the vessel will break and grace is spilled and we will be totally empty.

WORD OF GOD CLEARLY SAYS IN 1 THESSALONIANS 5:9-10 - FOR GOD HAS DESTINED US NOT FOR WRATH BUT FOR OBTAINING SALVATION THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO DIED FOR US, SO THAT WHETHER WE ARE AWAKE OR ASLEEP WE MAY LIVE WITH HIM.

God has not destined anybody to get destroyed by His wrath because He loves us so much and He is very patient with us. We should take GOD’S love and patience for granted but we should take it seriously to change our self from sin to Grace.

Most of us are so much engrossed in the worldly affairs that we barely have time to pray. Today because of prayerlessness and increasing sine we have brought upon ourselves global crisis of Coronavirus. Today many of the prayerless people are introduced to prayers so that they may have strength to bear the crisis and overcome it so that all Glory and Honour belongs to GOD.

In the old testament because of GOD’S wrath entire world perished in the great flood except Noah and family, Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by rain of sulphur and God spared Lot and family, Israelites who journeyed from Egypt to promise land all men over 21 years and above perished in the desert and many more were given for sword, captivity, famine and pestilence.

Today we cannot see these type of destructions only because Jesus carried our sins on the cross and died for us so that He can reconcile us to GOD THE FATHER. Today we after committing heap of sins are living safe only because of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. We all are getting chance after chance to change our life but most of us either put it forward needlessly or ignore.

Today Jesus has obtained for us salvation but the question is how many of us value His great sacrifice and grow our faith in Jesus and ready to give up everything displeasing Him and try our level best to lead a holy and righteous life so that when we are awake or when we sleep we will be with Jesus all the time.

CHARITY BRINGS TO LIFE AGAIN THOSE WHO ARE SPIRITUALLY DEAD. –SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS

In this world there are 2 types of people first type of people they only pray but are not generous towards the needy and second type of people pray a little and some do not pray at all but they are very generous towards the needy.

When we are belonging to 1st category surely we will not be generous towards others and also instead of growing in generosity we grow in selfishness. These people love themselves more than others that is why they most of the time pray for their selfish needs.
We pray not because we love GOD but because we are in want of something from GOD. When GOD answers us one need of ours then another need arises and this will continue till we die and we live a life of selfishness without doing good to others around us. When we are in this category there is a possibility that we may fall trap to unbelief or anger or rebellion so that we may become spiritually dead.

If we belong to 2nd category we will be generous towards others around us even if we are spiritually dead. We have to understand because of our generosity one or the other point in life our spirituality will come back to life again. These people love others as they love themselves by showing act of generosity.
If we are not in a habit of praying, we will start praying and if we are in habit of praying a little very soon we find ourselves praying more and suddenly we find our faith ignited and because of this we will continue help others around us physically and also spiritually and bring all the lost and broken souls to GOD.

Generosity is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit we have to cultivate in our life so that it will help us to ignite our faith which is dead and set our life on fire for GOD.

CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION DAILY – BY ROVAN PINTO.

WORD OF GOD CLEARLY SAYS IN ISAIAH 45:2-3 - I will go before you and level the mountains,
I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron, I will give you the treasures of darkness and riches hidden in secret places, so that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name.

We are all in prayers and most of us are having one or the other mountains in our life and most of us struggle everyday to overcome those mountains. Truth is without the help of Word of God we cannot overcome any mountains in our life and longer the mountain stays in our life we will fall trap to anger, rebellion, sorrow and depression.

For some mountains can be in form of addictions, for some vices, for some lust, for some anger, for some sickness, for some family problems, for some financial problems and so on as the list is endless.

God’s word clearly says that He will go before us and level all the mountains but in reality if it doesn’t happen we have understand that either we are in sin or we are having lack of faith in GOD.

When we have one or more mountains in our life we most of the times feel that we are in prison. Once the mountains are moved from our life we will experience freedom. We may not see the locked doors in front of us but God sees and opens for us at the right time.

When we recite Word of GOD on daily basis and build our confidence around it then surely GOD will not only level our mountains but also set us free from the captivity of the enemy.

God will also show us favour by blessing us with riches which belongs to sinners and also show us so many things which was hidden from us so we may know that it is Almighty GOD who has great powers to give us everything which we could not even think of achieving even if we had worked all our life.

WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT GOD’S FAVOUR FOR ONE DAY IS EQUAL TO THE OUR LABOUR FOR LIFETIME.

To come in favour of GOD we have to be knowing His Word and also standing on His Word in every situation without wavering so that we can be 100% sure of His reward.

CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION DAILY – BY ROVAN PINTO.

SACRAMENTS ARE "POWERS THAT COMES FORTH" FROM THE BODY OF CHRIST, WHICH IS EVER-LIVING AND LIFE-GIVING. THEY ARE ACTIONS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AT WORK IN HIS BODY, THE CHURCH. THEY ARE "THE MASTERWORKS OF GOD" IN THE NEW AND EVERLASTING COVENANT.—CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH 1116.

We all Catholics know that GOD instituted 7 sacraments but most of us either abuse or reject or spread false knowledge about the sacraments.
Every sacrament has power built within and every time we receive the sacraments, we will be filled with joy and also we feel like our burdens are lightened.

BAPTISM

Infant baptism was instituted in the Catholic Church before any other denominations were born and the main reason of infant baptism is to wash our original sin and be filled with Holy Spirit. Saint Paul says in Colossians 2:11-12 that we will be circumcised not physically but spiritually in Christ. That is where infant circumcision was replaced by infant baptism.

CONFESSION

Confession or sacrament of reconciliation or sacrament of penance was instituted by Jesus after His resurrection and gave authority to HIS apostles to forgive sins on the earth and the same authority has been passed on by apostles to pope to cardinals to bishops to the priests. Every time we go for confession we can experience great joy inside us.

EUCHARIST

Eucharist is the centre of all sacraments we have because it is the body and blood of JESUS. We have to examine ourselves before we receive Holy Communion every time we attend Holy Mass and receive Eucharist in a worthy manner.

CONFIRMATION.

Confirmation is the sacrament which will renew our vows of baptism and we are confirmed to live a holy and righteous life and be a example to others around us. For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed."

MATRIMONY.

Matrimony or marriage is a holy sacrament most of the Catholics abuse because of silly reasons. Many marriages are broken for silly reasons and misunderstanding. Many divorce their wife or husband in court and live with another man or woman and live a life of adultery. Many because of doing this are stuck with pain and sickness to make them realise their wrongs but very few realize and give up unholy relationships.

HOLY ORDERS.

The priests, nuns and deacons together are called Holy orders. In today’s world catholic priests imitate Jesus and nuns imitate Mother Mary. Both Jesus and Mother Mary were virgin and chaste till the end of their life. The same vow of chastity every priest and nuns take when they are ordained. Many of us by speaking against priests and nuns we speak against Holy orders instituted by Jesus.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK

This sacrament has to be given for everyone who are sick and on their deathbed so that through that they may recover. Most of us have wrong understanding that this sacrament is given for the sick so that they may die peacefully.

Let us understand that GOD instituted all this sacraments so that we may be benefited out of it and grow into holy and righteous person.
