IF A PERSON WISHES TO AVOID ONLY MORTAL SINS, WITHOUT MAKING ANY ACCOUNT OF THOSE WHICH ARE VENIAL, HE WILL EASILY FALL INTO MORTAL SINS AND LOSE HIS SOUL. -- THE WAY OF SALVATION AND OF PERFECTION – SAINT ALPHONSUS LIGOURI.

Many a times we are all falling trap to false knowledge and because of this most of us believe that we have to avoid all the Mortal sins to be saved and we do not have bother much about venial sins as we all have false idea that GOD will forgive us easily and that is why we commit venial sins easily.

Most of us also have false idea that we can get rid of venial sins easily. But the truth is both venial and mortal sins are very difficult to get rid of.  If we have to get rid of venial or mortal sins first of all we have to know which venial sins and mortal sins we are committing regularly and then we have to surrender it to the Lord and ask His help to get rid of it.  Many a times because of not being alert we commit venial sins easily everyday and if this habit continues for long we will again fall into mortal sin.

We have to live everyday thinking this is our last day on earth and we have to understand we can avoid occasion of falling into most of the sins if not all and also some sins we may try to avoid but sometimes we may fall into it, moment the fall happens we have to get reconciled with GOD at the earliest otherwise it will be too late for us because no one knows when the death will knock at our door.

We all because of not examining venial sins we may fall into mortal sin and the moment we fall into mortal sin if we die before confession then we may lose our soul for eternal fire of hell instead of enjoying eternally with GOD.

We have to consider every sin as grievous then only our mind will be alert all the time or else we may neglect examining the venial sin we commit every day. We have to develop a new habit of getting deeper in our life to see the wrongs we are doing and stop bothering about others life because if we are saved then we can save others also.
