CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION DAILY – BY ROVAN PINTO.

WORD OF GOD CLEARLY SAYS IN 1 THESSALONIANS 5:9-10 - FOR GOD HAS DESTINED US NOT FOR WRATH BUT FOR OBTAINING SALVATION THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO DIED FOR US, SO THAT WHETHER WE ARE AWAKE OR ASLEEP WE MAY LIVE WITH HIM.

God has not destined anybody to get destroyed by His wrath because He loves us so much and He is very patient with us. We should take GOD’S love and patience for granted but we should take it seriously to change our self from sin to Grace.

Most of us are so much engrossed in the worldly affairs that we barely have time to pray. Today because of prayerlessness and increasing sine we have brought upon ourselves global crisis of Coronavirus. Today many of the prayerless people are introduced to prayers so that they may have strength to bear the crisis and overcome it so that all Glory and Honour belongs to GOD.

In the old testament because of GOD’S wrath entire world perished in the great flood except Noah and family, Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by rain of sulphur and God spared Lot and family, Israelites who journeyed from Egypt to promise land all men over 21 years and above perished in the desert and many more were given for sword, captivity, famine and pestilence.

Today we cannot see these type of destructions only because Jesus carried our sins on the cross and died for us so that He can reconcile us to GOD THE FATHER. Today we after committing heap of sins are living safe only because of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. We all are getting chance after chance to change our life but most of us either put it forward needlessly or ignore.

Today Jesus has obtained for us salvation but the question is how many of us value His great sacrifice and grow our faith in Jesus and ready to give up everything displeasing Him and try our level best to lead a holy and righteous life so that when we are awake or when we sleep we will be with Jesus all the time.
