God's word clearly says that Peace of God which surpasses all understanding that will guard our heart and mind in Jesus Christ.
We need to ask ourselves whether we are in peace all the time. If we are not at peace then this clearly indicates that our focus is more on problems than the Word of God.
When we are going through 4 different situations in our life we have to maintain peace otherwise we will be attacked by the enemy.
1. PEACE IN TIME OF REJECTIONS.- When we are on our Spiritual journey we are going to be rejected by many people especially by our near and dear ones, and when they reject us if we are able to maintain peace then surely we are following Jesus because He also maintained HIS peace when He was rejected by His own people.
2.PEACE DURING STORMS.
When storms comes in our life we get disturbed easily if we are not built on the Word of God. Storms comes in our life not to destroy us but to lift us higher if we maintain our peace in midst of the storms then surely we will be promoted.

3. PEACE DURING TEMPTATIONS.
When we are in prayer we are all going to be tempted by the evil one every single day and when temptations come instead of falling into it we need to pray to get out of it and sometimes when we fall also we need to maintain our peace and rise up again to fight against it till we succeed.

4.PEACE IN CARRYING THE CROSS.
Carrying of the cross is the last thing we want to do that is why many of us when we are carrying the cross we complain, grumble and also rebel against God because it is difficult and painful and as the result of this many of us will lose peace very easily. We need to maintain peace in midst of carrying the cross because there is great reward after we finish carrying it joyfully.
Being in peace all the time requires our standing firm on the Word of God no matter how hard the situation is. We have know that the enemy cannot attack us when our mind is at peace.
