CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION DAILY -- BY ROVAN PINTO.

Word of God clearly says in JAMES 4:3- You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, in order to spend what you get on your pleasures.

We are all asking one or the other things through prayers from God and when we receive from the Lord what we need instead of being thankful to God, we start asking for more from God.

When we start asking for more from the Lord surely we will be ungrateful to HIM. God knows clearly what we need and not what we want.

Our wants are always more than our needs. That's why we do not receive everything we ask from the Lord because Lord knows very clearly what we need.

If the Lord gives us everything more than we need then instead of leading a simple life we start moving on to the next level and spend what is more on the pleasures of our flesh.

When we try to satisfy our flesh, the flesh will demand for more from us. By trying to satisfy the pleasures of the flesh many of us instead of becoming rich we have come to poverty.

God has clearly given us instructions in His word to be happy with what we have and also be satisfied in everything we receive from the hands of God and be thankful to Him because God knows and gives everything according to our needs.
