Catholic Spiritual Inspiration Daily – by Rovan Pinto.

“To convert somebody go and take them by the hand and guide them.” -Saint Thomas Aquinas

Every one of us living in our houses we have one or sometime more people who are not in prayers. It is very hard to live with someone who is not in prayers because they are unpredictable.

If one of us in the family is in prayer then it will our duty to guide them to prayer but with love and patience.

It requires lots of patience to convert someone’s soul; it involves hard work, patience and calmness. Many a times when we say to them to pray it looks good for us thinking we are doing well but to them it may be annoying or irritating.

That’s why before even talking to the person we have to first keep that person in our prayers sometimes for days, sometimes for months and sometimes for years depending on how far that person has walked away from God.

After keeping that person for a certain time then we have to find opportunity either talking to them directly or make them talk to God’s chosen ones so that they may understand and change for good.

We have to hold their hand means we have to be with them spiritually whenever they need our assistance, we also have to watch their progress and continuously pray for them which will not only change their life but also bring us great reward.

When we guide one soul towards conversion, we are helping God to build His kingdom on earth. We all cannot talk about God initially because we are not confident but we can always connect the needy to the chosen ones of God which will bring us great blessings.

God is very much interested in saving every soul on this earth but problem God has is He never finds enough people who will go and do what He says. If we are called by God then let us take seriously His call so that He may choose us and send us to the people He knows who needs our guidance.
