Today in this world we can see most of the people living to fulfil their selfish desires .We live for ourselves for few months and enter our comfort zone and once we enter our comfort zone we are not ready to come out of there until unless crisis strikes us. We because of living in our comfort zone we ignore the needy and poor people around us.

In today’s world charity is ineffective because of lack of prayers and increase in worldly priorities. We many a times close our eye and act like blind when we see any needy or poor person passing by. Today lack of charity has brought many of us disasters in our life like family problems, sickness, pain etc.

Many of us disguise ourselves inside the church as prayerful people and act like we love GOD so much but when it comes to helping poor and needy we either try to avoid or ignore. Many of us are acting like helping the needy and poor and after sometime if something goes well in their life ask the help back.

People are shameless who initially help the needy and poor and after sometime ask back. It is good for us to keep our fakeness for ourselves instead of exposing to the whole community.

God has clearly told that whatever right hand does left hand should not know that means whatever help we do to the needy and poor we have to think that we are doing it to the Lord and should not expect anything back until and unless the person who received wants to give back.

God is not interested in fake helpers but genuine helpers who forget immediately after they help so that whatever reward they have to receive will be given by GOD Himself.

We are called to be a blessing to someone who is in need or to the poor so that we will be of great help in the time of their distress and by doing this we will do act of charity pleasing in the eyes of GOD.
