Faith is a treasure of life which is enriched by being shared -Catechism of the Catholic Church 949.

 

Faith is the supernatural gift of God which can be achieved in our life by hearing and hearing the Word of God. We are all are in prayers from many years and the question we need to ask ourselves is whether we have grown in faith.

 

For most of us the answer will come No. We all would wonder why we have not grown in faith, here are the few reasons which is directly responsible for not growing in Faith and because of not growing in faith we fail to share our faith with others after being in prayers for long.

 

Sin.

 

Faith is connected to our Spirit and sin is connected to our flesh. When we are living in flesh all that is connected to the Spirit will decrease and all connected to flesh will increase in us.

 

Reasoning.

 

Most of us have the habit of reasoning and because of this we will not grow in faith. Reasoning is connected to the things that we see and in the same way faith is connected to things we want to see.

 

Selfishness.

 

When we grow in faith we think it for us and we move forward, moment we keep faith for ourselves it will not grow. Faith is given to us so that we may share our faith with others but selfishness will not allow us to share our faith others.

 

Fear

 

We all have fear towards different things and because of fear we many a times will not grow in faith. Fear destroys all faith we have and faith destroys all fear we have.

 

Negative thinking

 

Many of us who are thinking negatively and speak against a solution and speak about the problem that’s why solutions will be far from us. We should have a positive mindset when we are walking with faith so that we may not be broken when there is delay in getting solutions to our problems.

 

We have to understand that if we have one of the above things in our life then surely we will be in faith for few months or few years and when we are in very critical situation when victory is very near we quit our journey of faith and again journey back towards the world thinking that is better for us.
